"My credit card got hacked and I was on automatic pay. As soon as I got the notice I called and gave them my new credit card. I was told it would take a couple of days to process. I still had no proof that it would be paid, I paid it myself and got confirmation by my credit card company that it was in fact paid. That was June 4. It is now June 11 and I got a cancellation notice on both my car and homeowners insurance. When I called today I asked to speak to Jason Bush and was told he wasn't in. When I asked when he would be in I was told he didn't know but maybe tomorrow. I was told that they didn't have the new credit card number on record. I gave it on June 4th. What is going on with this company? We have been a State Farm customer for many years without a claim."

"I’ve been a State Farm customer for 15 years with both homeowners and life insurance policies, and I filed my first ever claim. I discovered moisture and mold in my basement bathroom, and I acted immediately — hiring a licensed plumber and a mold mitigation company. The damage turned out to be caused by a hidden leak in a cast iron pipe behind the wall, confirmed by professionals. My policy language covered it, but my claim was denied. The reasons kept changing — first a “gradual leak” was cited as their excuse, then it became a “rot” excuse, even though no one from State Farm ever inspected the opened wall or consulted the people who repaired it. The manager who made the final decision hadn’t even reviewed the claim details until weeks after the denial. State Farm's only concern was to wiggle out of their responsibility to me as a loyal customer. The entire process was inconsistent, unprofessional, and unfair. My plumber said he’d never seen a customer denied for something like this, and my mold mitigation company said the same. I submitted a formal appeal, but I got no response from corporate leadership. State Farm's inane commercials talk about being a “good neighbor.” That hasn’t been my experience when I actually needed their help. They're useless, careless, and sloppy. Their national reputation is in the toilet for a reason. I'm going with NJM for my homeowners insurance. They've actually been great with my auto insurance for over a dozen years. Stay away from State Farm. Far away."
